Hi, I'm Violeta Asuncion, but most of my friends call me Lhet, and I write Making Money On The Net to share my own experience in monetizing a blog which starts I may say from scratch! I really don't know anything about earning from a blog aside from reading it from the internet and knowing about it from the local news. At first, I didn't believe it yet, but here I am now writing and bragging about it. So what pushes me to begin this journey? Well, it's pretty much obvious that I want to make money from the comfort of my home. I think that's the best lifestyle there is. No boss, no deadline, no pressure, and no traffic! But aside from money, I want to test myself, if I would be able to achieve what other successful bloggers achieved. Not only for fame, but to be an important source of knowledge in any aspects of life. It depends on your expertise. For a starter like me, I concentrate more on how to make my blog a source of income first and share it to the world!Now let's get personal. I'm now a self-employed doing small business in my place. But I used to work in an office for 8 years where I do inventory and monthly reports and more on accounting things. I started working since I was 16 where I do part-time jobs on fast food chain. This is to support my studies cause I was not born with a rich family. But I'm not complaining about it. Actually, I'm thankful about it. I know working while studying is too hard to bear but when you look at the brighter side of it, it teaches you how to be independent and optimistic in life. You've learned to dream and set goals in your life to keep you motivated. And when you reach your goal, it is more valuable because you know for yourself that you worked hard for it. And that is just so sweet and very overwhelming!
I am also fond of listening to music. At my age, I do love the music of Florida, T-Pain & Usher! I just love hip hop music. But the funny thing is I'm not that good in dancing! But the other side of me is sentimental, that's why I love old songs from the 80's most specially love songs. Carpenters, Air Supply, The Bread you name it.
